So it's been a week...we're going on week 2...
Last week on Thursday we got walls! However, we had some trouble with our tenant's shower that had a leak way back in October...it was still slowly leaking. Well, we had to fix that before the new walls could go up in the kitchen since the bathroom is over it. So we had that fixed, the basement door was removed and then had another leak. When they screwed in the sheetrock, they hit the cold water pipe. So when I took a shower after they left, it leaked into the basement in my laundry room! It was a leaky day to say the least!
Saturday we had the walls spackled and today we are getting the second coat with sanding. We are hoping that this week we'll get the floor in and the cabinets up on the walls...since the appliances come on Friday.
Unfortunately, the leaks set us back a day. Let's hope things go a bit more smoothly...
