Anyhow, I decided to just post some blogs that have "inspired" me to keep blogging and "posting" ...somehow bringing me to 100!!
So check these blogs out:
Check out my sidebar for more... I check many blogs DAILY! I love to read about others thoughts and ideas...and inspiration! Weird, isn't it?
So who are YOU? Do you read this blog and enjoy it? You could be family or friends or a new blog-friend....
Leave me a comment!
Here's to the next 100!! (eek! )

Who's My Blog "Crush"?

Laurie over at Tip Junkie has posed the question... "Who's your blog crush?" What a cute idea. Everyone's got one. Someone who has this "addicting" blog that you can't get enough of! You must check it out EVERY DAY!! Reading every post with great joy and excitment. Someone that inspires you to make yourself or your life more enriched!

My "crush" is Make and Takes by Marie. It's such an inspiring site for moms who like to get creative with their kids. Marie is a SAHM who is also a certified teacher. She has a lot of crafty, creative ideas that often connect to a great book. I love that. I'm a teacher and I love to read to my son so making book connections is great. Marie's got great holiday activities, recipes, tips, and parenting advice! I've also shared a few of my takes on some of her books and crafts. Many others share their ideas and thoughts too. And honestly, I'm not super crafty so don't worry...her projects and activities are not hard to do!

So if you've not been to her site already, check it out! What are you waiting for? Get crafty, get creative, and get clicking!

Bloggers Unite...Do you read NieNie?

I'm not sure how I stumbled on this mom's website but her great graphics, honestly about life and motherhood and her crafty ideas caught my eye. I started reading the Nie Nie Dialogues about 2 months ago. I bookmarked her site and I'd check it out every week or so. Then tragedy struck. Her and her husband (whom she bought flying lessons for one of his birthdays) were in a serious plane crash! They were in critical condition in a burn unit - fighting for their lives. It was so surreal. I didn't even know this girl from Arizona but I immediately felt sad for her and her family and her 4 children.

Here is her story as covered on Today on NBC.

Where in the world ...are the Clarkins?

Hi All! Yes, we're still here!

I know it's been a while since I posted...I'd like to apolgize to my 3 readers! Haha!

It's been pretty busy around here.
Sean is now coaching Girls JV9 softball 6 days a week. He usually doesn't get home until 6:30 pm or 8:30 when there's a game. So I've been coming home from work...taking care of Brendan...making dinner...cleaning up...bedtime...etc... By the time I get Brendan down...I'm exhausted! No time for blogging!
We've also been busy working out things for the new kitchen. In the free time Sean has we've booked a few meetings with some contractors. The good news is that we've finally decided on one and signed the contracts! Yeah! Construction begins the end of June. That way school will be out for both of us and the warm weather will allow us to BBQ b/c we'll have no kitchen for 2 to 4 weeks! Hint hint... we'll be inviting ourselves over for dinner!!

As our school years wind down... we've also both been busy at work. Testing , classroom cleaning etc... We can't wait for Spring break in 9 days... but who's counting!

Finally we've been getting things done around the house for Spring. As you know we had termites in our garage door - that happens to be not a garage anymore but an apartment. So it's not like we can rip the doors out and put up new! We treated for termites and are in the process of figuring our how we can neatly repair the damage to the garage door. Luckily they did not touch the sheetrock for the apartment. We did have to remove a small section of the garage door in the lower corner and need to replace the wood. It just has to last about 5 years until we redo the front of the house & get rid of the apartment! YIKES!

So, hopefully I'll get some more free time to blog again.

Happy Spring!

Welcome to our BLOG

Ok, so here's the first post.

What do I write about?- I'm wondering this.

So many of you have BLOGS and I like to read them. So I decided to keep our own BLOG. Of course don't expect a daily post. It's just impossible for me. But do expect some funny Brendan stories and some of my random thoughts. (only ones I can spare.)

Well, I'll end there. No sense in writing too much. I don't want you to come to expect that. Blogging should be interesting...
