Mommy (Lynne): Let's decorate for St. Patrick's Day. We'll put up the shamrocks.

Brendan: No, I want to decorate for Michael Day.

Mommy: What? Do you know what St. Patrick's Day is?

Brendan: Yes, he's in my class at school.

After a few attempts at explaining this holiday...

Brendan: Ok, the leprechan is going to come and give me gold coins.

Mommy: The leprechan is going to share his gold with you?

Brendan: Yes, and then when I'm bigger and I can drive a car, I'm going to go and buy something with the coins.
