Manga!

On Saturday, Nov 21, I went to our local "little book store" (aka not B & N) to a book signing. I got to see Lidia Bastianich. She's on channels 13 & 21. (I know...not the food network.) But she has a great cooking show with all Italian cooking. She also gives you history & shows video of her trips there. So her new cookbook focuses on the smaller, outskirt towns & their culture. She came with her daughter, Tanya, with whom she wrote this new book. Together, they share their food tasting & historial experiences. Lidia was very warm, and full of interesting stories. Here are some pictures I took.

The Boys turn "5"

It's going to be a big week around here... Yes It's HALLOWEEN!! (Stay tuned for costume pictures.) Sean & Brendan's favorite holiday - not really mine. But OK. Christian also turns 5 months on 10/29 (actually Brendan's original due date) and then on 11/2 Brendan turns 5 years!

Christian - age 5 months

Likes - making raspberries, his fruits & cereal, sticking out his tongue, grabbing his feet, watching his big brother, playing peek a boo, putting his hands in his mouth

Happy Fourth Month!

Happy 4th month to our little Christian. I can't believe he's 4 months! Here are his new stats: 15lbs 4 oz; now eating veggies {yum}, loves to grab his toys and put them in his mouth; just started to "stick out his tongue"; loves to smile, laugh and is "getting loud" and likes to screech.

Apple Picking

Today we went Apple picking at Lewin's Farm. Brendan was so excited to pick his own apples this year and pick them for his brother. Christian loved being outside, looking around and smiling. We also picked up some veggies at the farm stand, flowers and pies/cookies at Briemere Farms.
