Kitchen Remodel - Day 1
And the fun has begun...
Today the "crew" emptied the entire kitchen...did I say "empty?" I meant GUTTED!! We're down to floor boards and wall studs. There was a lot of banging, a lot dust, and a lot of floors & walls! We actually had 2 linoleum floors (the one below our current one was definitely a 70's style) and 2 layers of wallpaper, 1 layer of paneling and 1 layer of some other wall covering...then some sheet rock! We do have a minor problem with the upstairs bathroom pipes that need to be moved so that they can fit in the cabinets. The plumber will be working on this tomorrow.
